SATURDAY SCRAPBOOK TIDIBITS

Good Morning! Today I wanted to share with you one of my absolute FAVORITE websites!  Shabby Blogs.  Quite simply, they ROCK!   They've got all sorts of free shabby chic embellishments for your blogs, digital scrapbooking and more.  So flippin' adorable!!

So, they've got this great video to share about how to use the cloning and healing tool for pictures in Photoshop.  This, of course makes your scrapbooking layouts THAT MUCH BETTER!  If you don't know what I'm talking about with "Photoshop", I'm talking about Adobe Photoshop, which is a very elaborate tool for editing digital pictures.  It's a little bit pricey and you may need a class to get going with it, but you can download a simpler and FREE version of photography editing software at Picasa.

PETITE PURSES

Oh, I just had to make another purse because I love them so!!!  Isn't this just darling?  The imagination is endless with opportunities for embellishments on this project!!  Or, like me, you can just "KISS" keep it simple sweetheart.  

Now, as a reminder... our retiring list is coming out on Sunday.  I usually don't have blog posts on Sunday, but this week I will put that list up as soon as it's in my crafty little hands.. muhahaha (that was an evil laugh in case you missed it).  And then it's only a few short weeks until we can see the brand new catalog in it's new format.. posted online!!!!  Make sure I have your address if you'd like a free copy!! USING MARKERS AND INK PADS TO COLOR

Today's project features markers!!  

I inked up this flower stamp (Elements of Style) with Daffodil Delight and then colored directly on the stamp with our Pumpkin marker, "huffed" and WALAA!  SO cool! and way easy.   Share if you likey :)

 Um, what are you talkin' about Ang?

Ha ha ha.. this is so fun, I had to share.  DYNGUS DAY is a polish tradition, where the Monday after Easter, boys typically throw water on girls.  WHAT?  That's SO NOT FAIR!!

But wait....  The following day, the girls would return the favor by throwing DISHES at the boys.  LOL... oh, that's so funny!  Now, if you start throwing dishes at boys tomorrow, I am not going to take the blame...I will deny everything!

Okay, here's todays little project I made for my wonderful Physical Therapist who has been helping me with my neck and back problems.  Our time is almost  up and I wanted to give her a cute little something as a token of my appreciation.  Well, she also let me borrow a book, so I am giving it back to her with an adorable bookmark!  In fact, all of my hosts in MAY will get to see how to make these and keep one for themselves, so book your party with me while I still have a couple of dates open!!

Only 2 more days until Easter, so I thought I would do a little "triple threat" project.. he he he... I am featuring a die that was on the clearance rack for a long time.  Baskets and Blooms.  Seriously, this was on the clearance rack for at least a year, and when I went to look today, it was gone!  Geesh... well, I hope some of you grabbed it and for those who didn't and still want to use it for future projects, come on over to project night at my house and use it for FREE!! Okay, the other die I featured is my favorite.. Fancy Favor Box which is CURRENT, ha ha..  and I  distressed everything using our tea stain ink (LOVE THAT STUFF).. it makes everything looks so old :)

Digital TUESDAYS!! 

Yes, every Tuesday will be something related to DIGITAL crafting.. I can and will find a day of the week for everything, I tell you!  And Tuesdays are the day of the week that Stampin' Up! releases new digital artwork.  What a coincidence (wink,wink).

Digital art is FANTASTIC because it's so versatile.  You don't need our software to purchase it or use it and it's super, let me repeat, SUPER INEXPENSIVE!  It works just like clipart... print it from word or even use it in your scrapbooks!  WHY are you still buying those overpriced cards at the store?????  Just look at today's download for example.  I know tons of you guys that could use these cards ALL THE TIME...especially spring and fall when most of the little's birthday parties are.  I mean, what's it worth to you to NEVER have to go to the store again for a birthday card...Right? CUPCAKE BIRTHDAY CARD

Today's project is for my friend, Suzanne.  She loves this birthday card and so we are going to do it at her Stampin' Up! card making workshop tonight!  Woot!  Woot!  

This card features the cupcake punch and paper crimper.  So simple.. just my style.  Simple and cute!

NEW DIE CUT- PETITE PURSE

HOW STINKING CUTE IS THIS?  Right?  

I had to have it as soon as I saw it!!  This die cut is available to all customers starting April 1st.  (One of the awesome benefits of being a Demonstrator, is getting all of these things first, hee hee)

It's called Petite Purse and it's smaller than it looks.  This die cut, when put together, fits right into the palm of your hand.  And SOOOO simple to put together, all you need is 2 pieces of tape. TWO PIECES.. THAT'S IT!!  I so love it.  Want to try before you buy?  Come on over to project night, next Friday :)  But you gotta RSVP kids :)

EASTER TREAT BAG

Hi guys!

Todays project features two awesome products.  The first is the  Fancy Favor Die (Item# 115965) and the second is our Designer Printed Kit (Item# 125410)  from the Mini Catalog.  I also used the Twitterpated Designer Paper (Item# 125406) from the Spring Mini and then added a little bakers twine.  Seriously, took about 5 minutes tops and this would make a great little Easter treat bag!  You could really embellish this like crazy if you like, or even have the kids do it as a project at Easter!
